Damn, that's so cool! and i'm working so wrong in GSU... though i have no ideea how i would create the hulls of my aircrafts in the traditional way... maybe that's because i'm still a beginner... for the record: my metod implies a lot of "moving vertices" and i'm lucky that my models don't have so much vertices as this car does!
